Childhood stories.
When I was very young up until just a few years ago, when i was at my dads every other weekend he would always read me a couple chapters out of the Little House on the Prairie stories, and sometimes other books too. This was good for both of us because we didn't, and still don't see each other very often and this thirty to sixty minutes of reading each night i was at his house gave us our own little bonding thing because i didn't really read with my mom too much. We read the whole series after a few years so we had to move onto other books but my favorite books me and my dad read together were the Little House on the Prairie ones. It was also a good ending for the day because after a crazy hectic day i could always look forward to diving into the adventures of whatever story we were currently reading, and after a calm day of relaxing it just tied everything in for a nice end of the day.

Technologically advanced
Now a very large portion of the generals everyday life, technology. Internet, cell phones, and T.V are three huge things that make our life's so much different from out great grandparents lives, along with the scientific and medical advances. While back in the late 1800's and early 1900's if a teenager got bored he or she may go outside to play with friends or do their house hold chores, now a days they would possibly grab their cell phones and text their friends while enjoying a nice T.V. show, or search the internet for something they find entertaining. The technological difference between kids of this generation and even their parents is very large. Technology is advancing at a outstanding rate to where something you may buy right now that's brand new and nice, will be outdated in just a few years. As of now its hard to even predict what technological advancements we may have in jut a couple of years, at least by someone like me, just like many years ago i sure they general population wouldn't have guessed that we would have some of the things we have now like cell phones, or Ipod's. Though I'm sure some saw such inventions coming, even expected us to of invented flying cars like the Jetsons. Even though were not that technologically advanced that could possibly be where we end up...
